The inspectors of Nébih withdrew more than one and a half tonnes of fish from the market
More than one and a half tonnes of untracked fish and fish products were withdrawn from commercial circulation during the pre-Christmas checks. The National Food Chain Safety Agency (Nébih) mainly visited fish farms – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
During the two-week-long checks the largest number of unidetified fish and fish products were found in a fish store in Ráckeve (471 kg). The inspectors also seized significant quantities of unprocessed fish and fish products (397.96 kg) at a primary producer, where more than 1.5 tonnes of non-native live fish were also found.
