For regular consumption we better choose leaner sorts of ham
The dietetic perception of meat products is done by their fat content among other factors. For regular consumption leaner hams (eg. Breast of turkey, ham) are recommended.
The popularity of hams increased over the past decade, they are especially popular products in Hungary as well. These products are the favorite of people on diet, on regular physical exercises and those who are eating consciously. The Sága Foods Zrt. taken these factors into account when expanded its range of premium category Royal ham family. The Royal hams are lactose and gluten-free, and have low-fat content of 1-2 percent, they do not contain soybeans and and added flavor enhancers, have high meat content, (80-85%), which is well above the standards of the Food Codex.
