Nébih found the designations of origin for pork in order
The designations of origin of pork were found to be in order by the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih), and only a few cases had to be fined by food chain inspectors during the national inspection – Nébih told MTI.
In June, the information on the origin of unpackaged fresh pork and their traceability system were checked in 651 hypermarkets and supermarkets, grocery stores and butchers. They had to warn forty times due to partial and minor deficiencies, but fines were imposed only 13 times with a total value of more than 4 million HUF. (MTI)
