Székely gastronomy is promoted in Bucharest with a record-sized stand and show kitchen
Székely gastronomy is being promoted at the Romanian tourism fair in Bucharest with a record-sized stand and show kitchen, drawing attention to the fact that Harghita County will be the European Gastronomic Region in 2027.
According to a statement sent to MTI by the Harghita County Government, the Bucharest tourism fair, to be held between February 20 and 23, is a good opportunity to present the values, tourist services and unique flavors of the Székely County.
As they wrote, the Visit Harghita association will be present with a record-sized, 120 square meter stand, and a show kitchen will also be set up, where visitors can taste local specialties. Every day, a renowned Harghita restaurant will present its typical dishes, such as Armenian soup flavored with catarrh, magic cake with puszka and plums, artisanal chocolates and natural fruit spirits.
This year, the Harghita County Assembly and the Harghita County Community Development Association will host decision-makers, government members, heads of institutions and opinion leaders from Bucharest at their stand. The emphasis will be on presenting gastronomic values, in line with the awarding of the title of European Region of Gastronomy 2027
