The proportion of Slovakian foods fell to a record low rate in Slovakia
The proportion of Slovakian foods continued to decline in Slovakian stores last year. The proportion of Slovakian foods fell to a record low level to 40 percent in April 2015 – according to the survey of the Slovak Food Industry Chamber (PKS).
The survey was conducted in 360 stores in Slovakia by the the GfK market research company. According to the survey, the rate of Slovakian foods in the Slovakian stores steadily declining for at least five years. Since the first survey in 2011, the proportion of Slovakian foods fell back by one fifth. (MTI, Starovic Tibor)
