Aldi launches healthy recipes for kids in new campaign
Aldi has partnered with young TikTok chef Carter and leading dietician Lucy Upton to create a campaign aimed at helping more children gain interest in healthier foods.

Cooking with Carter x Aldi recipes for pre-schoolers.
The new campaign features a selection of dishes on the supermarket retailer‘s website, created to encourage children to add more fruit and vegetables to their diet, Grocery Gazette reports.
Dietician Lucy Upton said: “Kids thrive with activities that are fun and meet them where they are at developmentally. That’s why they are likely to try new foods like fruits and vegetables more willingly if they are involved. These new recipes with Carter are designed with exactly that in mind – giving families simple, healthy and fun dishes they can enjoy making together.”
The dishes include a vegetable-packed lasagna, simple chicken stir-fry and a banana, strawberry and mango smoothie.
Liz Fox, national sustainability director at Aldi, added: “As any parent knows, getting kids to eat their fruit and veg isn’t always easy – mealtimes can be busy, stressful and sometimes a bit of a battle. With these new recipes we want to take some of that pressure off by making healthy food simple, affordable and something families can genuinely enjoy together.
“Because parents should feel supported, not judged, for trying to make it easier for children to grow up with positive habits around food.”
The campaign comes after a study found that 44% of parents with younger children struggled to create healthy meals their children were willing to eat.
Additionally, over three-quarters (77%) of parents expressed concern about how healthy their children’s diets were.
The study also found that 15% of children ate their ‘five a day’ once a week and 26% of parents claimed they lacked time to cook healthy meals.
