Heineken bought pubs
Heineken began serious pub acquisitions in the UK: in December last year bought 1900 pubs from the Punch Taverns company – origo.hu wrote.
The Punch that was founded in 1997 was one of the largest pub operator in the United kingdom with more than 3,000 pubs, but late last year the company accepted Heineken’s takeover bid.
