Profession.hu: 44 percent of the Hungarians do not in the field of their highest degree of education
44 percent of the Hungarian workers do not work in the field of their highest degree of education, and an additional 44 percent are actively thinking about the change of career, mainly due to higher earning opportunities – according to Profession.hu’s online representative survey carried out with the involvement of 1000 people.
The vast majority of respondents – 19 percent of them – have vocational qualifications as their highest level of education, but only 9 percent of those surveyed said they are currently working as skilled workers. 12 percent of the respondents have the highest level of education, related to administration and office work, while 14 percent of the respondents are working in this area – according to the survey.
