Magazine: Pork and cheese prices increased the most in one year
In July 2017 consumer prices were 2.1 higher on average than in July 2016. Food prices grew by 3.3 percent – pork cost 12.7 percent more and we had to pay 10.8 percent more for cheese. Alcoholic drinks and tobacco products became 5.2 percent more expensive. Services were provided for 1.8 percent more and the price of household energy jumped 0.7 percent. However, the price of consumer durables dropped 0.3 percent.
Compared with June 2017, consumer prices didn’t change. Food prices reduced by 0.2 percent, but the price of services augmented by 0.9 percent. Alcoholic drinks and tobacco products turned 0.7 percent more expensive. Motor fuel prices decreased by 1.5 percent. In January-July 2017 consumer prices grew by 2.3 percent on average.//
