POPAI POP Awards Hungary 2017
At this year’s last Trade Marketing Club meeting the winners of the 8th POPAI Awards competition were announced. General secretary Ildikó Kátai introduced the winners of the in-store, POP and shopper marketing solutions contest. Just like in former years, the entries were displayed at the Business Days conference in Hotel Pelion, Tapolca, between 26 and 29 September 2017 – conference participants evaluated the works.
POPAI Awards Hungary 2017 category winners
Small-size tools category: The silver medal went to Flexi Média Kft. and VELUX Magyarország Kft. for their flashing light channel that can be displayed in many ways. SCA Hygiene Products Kft. and POS Services Kft. walked away with the main prize for a dynamic shelf flag promoting Libresse sanitary pads.
Non-durable tool category: Sole Mizo Zrt. and DS Smith Packaging Hungary Kft. won the bronze medal for their Mizo Coffee Selection display. BÉFLEX Zrt. and SPAR Magyarország Kft.’s Jamie Oliver display finished second. SCA Hygiene Products Kft. and OSG Hungary Kft. won the category with the Libero Superhero display.
Installation category: SCA Hygiene Products Kft. and Dion Hungary Kft.’s Libero Newborn cot bed installation finished third. Mondelez Hungária Kft. was the runner-up with the Milka Waves product launch. The gold medal also went to Mondelez Hungária Kft. for the OREO Double launch.

Krisztina Bódi (Kométa ’99)
Digital tool category: Smart Fridge by Kometa ‘99 Zrt. and Senso Media Zrt. became the category winner and Display of the Year. They will represent Hungary at the POPAI Global Awards, the winners of which will be announced in Düsseldorf in the spring of 2018. //
