PM: The provision of electronic payment facilities will increase the competitiveness of businesses
Starting from this year, companies operating online cash registers are required to provide customers with the option of electronic payment and its continued availability. Developments through regulation could be a step forward for businesses – the Ministry of Finance (PM) told MTI.
According to the announcement, current processes in the world and the growing demand for electronic payment due to the coronavirus pandemic have made secure and contactless payment solutions a requirement. They added that shoppers are looking for stores where they can pay not only in cash but also with a credit card or even with their mobile phone. (MTI)
