Yettel introduces an additional month of paid leave
The telecommunications company and infrastructure provider CETIN is also introducing a unique program in Hungary for its colleagues. The employee benefit, available from 2025, provides an extra paid month of recharging in addition to annual leave after every fifth year of active work.
A one-month language course abroad, a trip with the family, a professional internship in another field, intensive training in a sport or a long-overdue home renovation; from 2025, the telecommunications company will give employees a full month of annual leave after every fifth year of work. With the program, which is unique in Hungary, Yettel rewards loyalty and aims to ensure that colleagues have enough time to thoroughly rest and recharge. The full, uninterrupted month creates an opportunity to distance themselves from the world of work, thus providing time for renewal and quality recharge, and to gain new inspiration.
“We work in an innovative industry that constantly presents exciting challenges. However, in order to provide the best possible service to our customers, the well-being of our colleagues is essential. We know that everyone needs to recharge from time to time and that a short vacation is not always enough. By introducing the new program, we would like to appreciate those who have contributed to our common successes for years, and on the other hand, create an opportunity to distance ourselves from the world of work, renew ourselves, and gain new inspiration, as this is essential for us to be able to offer our customers more and more innovative technological solutions beyond classic telecommunications services,” said Enikő Szalai, Deputy CEO of Yettel HR. “This is the second time in a row that we have been on the list of the best domestic employers based on the rating of the independent international institute, the TOP Employers Institute. This is also an important recognition that we are on the right track in terms of attractive opportunities for our colleagues in the short and long term,”
she added.
