Pilot master’s exam for confectioners
The first version of the pilot master’s exam for confectioners – developed upon the request of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and industry – has come to an end.
In the summer 5 master nominees passed the exam in the programme. Our magazine asked the guild’s president Balázs Erdélyi to share some of the project’s details with our readers. He told that the master nominees were working in the educational workshop for two days. During their preparation for the exam, the confectioners studied the latest dessert trends and techniques.

Regional training centres are planned to be established
The best representatives of the trade said afterwards: the pilot programme represented world-class level. They are now busy reforming the master’s exam, developing the pilot programme into an official master’s exam system.

Cribbed from the masters!
