Driverless tractors to come in a few years
The Süddeutsche Zeitung wrote an article (“The farmer thinks the tractor steering”) about the automatic agricultural machinery.
The tractors and combine harvesters are able to calculate the optimal route and store it in the cloud (remote data stores available on the internet) and use them again next year. Many plants, such as corn, sugar beets, potatoes should be sown in ideal distance and ideal depth. The machines can carry out these precise maneuvers. (privatbankar.hu)
