It will be mandatory to use a security code for online purchases from 14 September within the European Union, and customers must activate the services at a branch, online banking or mobile application – the OTP Bank announced in its statement on Wednesday.
For online purchases within the EU, in addition to card information, a one-time security code must be entered in the phone to confirm payment. This service is mandatory for both residential and business customers. (MTI)
