Egg producers using the Koronás Egg trade mark initiated voluntary inspections
Egg producers using the Koronás Egg trade mark initiated voluntary inspections at the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) to certify that no fipronil based insecticides are used on their farms. Businesses emphasize that Eggs sold under the Koronás Egg trade mark are of high quality and safe to consume.
Egg market companies using the Koronás Egg trademark owned by the Poultry Product Council are also joining to the initiative that seeks to demonstrate that despite the recently occured cases of eggs contaminated with fipronil, the domestic eating eggs can be safely consumed. The companies using the trade mark decided to voluntarily initiate Nébih controls at their farms. (MTI)
