OMÉK 2025: Hungary’s biggest agricultural festival returns!
OMÉK 2025: Hungary’s biggest agricultural festival returns! Tradition and innovation go hand in hand – this could be the message of the 82nd National Agricultural and Food Industry Exhibition (OMÉK) in 2025.
Between 18 and 21 September 2025, OMÉK will turn the entire Hungexpo area into a professional meeting place and a real family adventure park.
OMÉK: where the agricultural profession meets
OMÉK offers farmers, agricultural professionals, trade organisations and consumers the opportunity to meet directly. Exhibitors will include domestic producers, distributors, food, companies and agricultural machinery manufacturers. In Pavilion A there will be a Hungarikum stand, but wine seminars and themed tastings will also be waiting for visitors. The Hungarian Food Summit debuted in 2023 with great success: nearly 1,000 business meetings took place in a single day, between Hungarian producers and foreign buyers. This unique B2B event, which aims to help Hungarian food companies enter foreign markets, will return in 2025 even bigger, as this time approximately 80-100 Hungarian exhibitors and 200 international buyers will meet.
Lots of programmes and Central Europe’s biggest producer fair
Once again OMÉK will feature the Treasures of the Carpathian Basin Fair, where the finest artisan foods and specialties made by local producers will await visitors. The Passzázs gastro street will serve visitors delicious meals, street food and excellent drinks. OMÉK isn’t just a trade show but a place where tradition and the future meet. It is a special experience that showcases what Hungarian agriculture is capable of. Further details can be found on the trade fair’s website, www.omek.hu. It is important to note that ticket prices will remain unchanged this year, so visitors can enjoy OMÉK at the same low price as two years ago. (x)
