The GKI business cycle index rose to a two-year high in October
In October, after a period of four months of near stagnation, the rise in the GKI business cycle index gained new momentum and reached a two-year high. Last time, business expectations were so favorable in May 2019, and consumer expectations rose back to their June level after a three-month decline, the economic researcher told MTI
According to a survey conducted by the GKI with the support of the EU, the value of the GKI business cycle index increased from minus 0.5 points to 2.5 points in the previous month. The value of the business confidence index rose to 8.7 points from 6.5 points in September, while the consumer confidence index improved from minus 20.3 points to minus 15.2 points. (MTI)
