Vámos György: retail sales have been growing for six years
Retail sales in Hungary have been growing steadily since 2013, but the real expansion started in 2014 – origo wrote. Since then, the sector has been growing at an annual rate of 5-6 percent.
Most recently, the figure was 5.8 percent in September, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Vámos György, Secretary General of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) told Origo that the expansion of the retail trade is gratifying, but even more gratifying that the growth is continuous.
