Ecological footprint label on every food product?
According to the 2022-2023 climate survey of the European Investment Bank, 71% of Hungarians (EU average: 72%) think their own behaviour could matter in managing the climate crisis.

52% of respondents said the government should impose stricter measures for changing people’s behaviour for the benefit of the battle against climate change.
Food production also contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. With the purpose of making more sustainable food buying decisions, 72% of Hungarians support the idea of putting ecological footprint labels on every food product. 52% of Hungarians said they would be willing to pay a little more for foods produced locally and more sustainably. However, only 38% of Hungarians would back limiting the amount of meat and dairy products that is allowed to be purchased. //
