Objective: to strengthen fair trade practices
NAK has established the Agriculture and food trade department, with Dr Attila Csorbai as the head and NAK vice president Tamás Éder supervising the work. At the department’s first meeting the topics discussed included trademarks, matters related to the Hungarian Food Book, the supplier conditions of retail chains and the necessity of having fair supplier contracts. Members were also informed about the work the European Union does to end unfair trade practices, in which NAK also has it say via international professional organisations. //
