The Hungarian economy would not be successful without the food industry in the countryside, whose production increased by 11 percent in the first half of this year, Szijjártó Péter, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Péter Szijjártó said in Nyírmeggyes on Monday.

Parmen has expanded its production hall

As part of the investment of the Parmen Konzervipari Zrt. in Nyírmeggyes, the company expanded its production hall, built a new warehouse and developed technology. The value of the project is 560 million HUF, for which the government provided 280 million HUF in support, in return for which the retention of 177 jobs was guaranteed. (MTI)
