The production value of the domestic food industry increased by eight percent
Despite the special ordeals caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the domestic food industry remained strong. Its production value increased by eight percent last year, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade emphasized in Mosonmagyaróvár on Friday, where he handed over a competitiveness-enhancing support document to Óvártej Zrt.
Szijjártó Péter said that the industry employs 147 thousand people.
He added that as part of the investment promotion program, 163 investments worth 84 billion HUF will be made in the food industry. (MTI)
