A growth in the November Purchasing Manager Index
The seasonally adjusted Purchasing Manager Index (BMI) for November was 58.6 points, slightly more than the 58.3 points of September.
Compared with previous Novembers, this year’s value exceeds the long-term November average of 52.0 points and the average of 55.3 points over the past three years – the Hungarian Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Company (MLBKT) told MTI on Friday.
More than half of the sub-indices analyzed in the survey fell compared to October, but the rate of change only exceeded 4 percentage points in only one case. (MTI)
