Metro’s turnover increased
The turnover of the German Metro AG wholesale and retail chain of stores grew in the quarter ended in July, partly due to the acceleration of online trading and merchandise delivery – portfolio.hu wrote.
Metro’s quarterly turnover in 35 countries increased by 4.9 percent to 9.3 billion euros. On a comparable basis, the growth was 2.6 percent.
Metro’s Real food supermarket chain online sales grew by 70 percent, and on a comparative basis, the growth was 2.5 percent. (portfolio.hu)
