Women in the nearly 170-year-old Dreher Brewery
In connection with Women’s Day, Dreher Sörgyárak presents the role of women in the history of the brewery, the brand and Hungarian beer production in a three-part animated short film series.
International Women’s Day is also a special occasion in the life of Dreher Sörgyárak, which supports diversity and inclusive culture. With the short films, Dreher also thanks all its female colleagues who, during the nearly 170-year history of the company, have taken part in building the Dreher heritage and nurturing traditions, and without whose presence and work the brewery and the Hungarian beer industry would be unimaginable.
The films made with the cooperation of Dr. Róbert Török, the artistic advisor of the Dreher Beer Museum, focus on the role of women and the results of their dedicated work. They feature the female members of the Dreher dynasty, who have been involved in the life of the family company, which has become world-famous for several generations, the female workers, who have taken on an increasing proportion of work in the nationalized brewery since the recovery period after the Second World War, and nowadays the Dreher Hundreds of female colleagues working in breweries, who also continue to write Dreher history in the 21st century.
