Márton Nobilis: ham, eggs and horseradish receive special attention during the spring seasonal inspection
During the spring seasonal food chain inspections, special attention is paid to products distributed in larger quantities during the Easter holiday, such as eggs, ham, horseradish, confectionery products or wines, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) said on Thursday on the current channel M1.
Márton Nobilis announced that the staff of the government offices and the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) take part in the inspection.
According to the state secretary, Nébih’s responsibility is also to “make sure that Hungarian families get good quality food on their tables even in those periods when the merchant wants to sell everything”.
He emphasized that the inspection is not about imposing large penalties, but about ensuring that consumers can get the quality they expected during this period as well.
