The global sugar production increases
According to the analysts of the German F. O. Licht trading company; the global sugar production increases.
In the 2011/12 season, 176 million tons of sugar production is expected, after the 165.6 million tonnes of the 2010/11 season. The production mainly expands in the European Union, China, India and in Russia, where the high prices of sugar incited the framers to increase their beet-growing areas – reports MTI.
