Nielsen: domestic retail turnover is stable
Retail performance is stable all across Europe: the steady consumer confidence and low inflation have also contributed to the 3.7 percent growth of the third quarter of 2018.
Compared to this result, Hungarian retail sales expanded by more than twice as fast, by 7.6 percent in the period under review, keeping its place in the top 3: higher turnover was only recorded in Turkey and Finland – according to Nielsen’s “Growth Reporter” Quarterly European analysis.
