Nielsen: the hand cream season launches in October
In the autumn, the turnover of hand and nail care creams will start, which will peak in December. Between September 2017 and August 2018, about 3000 hectoliters of products were sold in an amount of 1.3 billion forints, typically in drug stores – according to Nielsen’s retail index. One-fifth of the products sold is own-branded.
As the cooler time approaches, the turnover of hand and nail care products gained momentum: between September 2017 and August 2018, sales amounted to 1.3 billion (2.5 million hand-creams), which is a slight decrease of 2 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
