Nielsen: companies in Central Europe generously support sports
In 2018 alone, the companies wil spend 355-365 million USD for sports and festival sponsorships in Hungary Poland and the Czech Republic according to the Nielsen Sports research. Ninety percent of the value spendings to be spent on sports events.
The biggest slice (49 percent) in the budget is for football, followed by winter sports with 17 percent and volleyball support with 9 percent. Among the company profiles, the most active are the producers of sportswear, consumer products, energy companies and banks. (Source: Nielsen)
