Nielsen: Hungarian retail trade has accelerated
Retail turnover in Hungary grew by 6.4 percent in the second quarter of 2017, compared to the same period of the previous year on the food and chemical market measured by Nielsen.
This is well above the European average of 3.7 percent in the second quarter. Only Turkey, Slovakia and Austria were developing more dynamically. This result, which was mostly driven by late Easter spendings, brought the best quarterly European average of the past two years – Nielsen’s “Growth Reporter” the quarterly European analysis reveals.
