NGM: Tourism closed a record year in 2014
The performance of tourism last year exceeded all expectations, compared to the previous year – the Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told at a press conference on Tuesday in Budapest.
Glattfelder Béla told that according to the data of the the Central Statistical Office, tourism closed a record year in 2014, all the important indicators were able to grow. The sector could improve with a greater extent than the entire Hungarian economy. In Hungary, 7.2 percent more, a total of 9.5 million guests spent 5.4 percent more 24.2 million guest nights in accommodation establishments. (MTI)
