NGM: more than 10 percent wage growth is realistic for this year
A more than 10 percent wage growth is realistic in the Hungarian economy for this year – Banai Péter Benő, Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Friday.
According to the data published on Friday by the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the average earnings increased by 11.9 percent in February compared to a year before. In the first two months of the year, gross and net average earnings increased by 12.9 percent over the same period of the previous year, and with a 2.0 percent inflation, real earnings increased by 10.7 percent in the first two months of the year.
