NGM: retail sales is increasing since forty-nine months
The retail sales has been growing steadily for forty-nine months. The growth of July is fitting into this year’s upward trend – Marczinkó Zoltán, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), told in response to the data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) to M1 news channel.
According to the first estimate, published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday, retail sales in July were 4.1 percent higher than in the previous year, both raw and calendar-adjusted. In January-July, turnover grew by 4.0 percent according to the raw data, and the calendar effect adjusted indicator showed a 3.9 percent increase, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
