NGM: the second phase of the tender aimed at improving working conditions will start next week

The non-refundable grant of HUF 8.610 billion to be spent on the priority project GINOP_PLUSZ-3.2.5-24-2024-00001 “Development of Working Conditions”, which will be implemented within the framework of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme Plus, is provided by the European Social Fund+ and the budget of Hungary in the form of co-financing. In the second phase, from March 16, an additional 1.857 billion forints of non-refundable support will be available for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises – the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) announced in its Wednesday statement.

The Project is being implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of National Economy and the capital and county government offices within the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plusz program.

With the help of the 8.610 billion forints of European Union support, the government is helping employers to purchase more modern technologies, protection systems, and occupational safety equipment that enable a higher level of occupational safety and health, and to ensure the related technical conditions.

The total amount of the transferred support available for the years 2025-2026 is 4.500 billion forints, 65 percent of which will be announced in the four most disadvantaged regions. The minimum amount of the transferred support that can be requested is 500 thousand, and the maximum amount is 20 million forints. The amount of the support that can be requested is a maximum of one million forints / employee affected by the development. A maximum of two million forints of support can be provided for each device aimed at increasing the level of occupational safety to be purchased, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs announced.

In the 2nd phase, enterprises will be able to submit applications for the transferred support provided by the project to the county government offices from March 16, 2026. The time available for implementing the developments: 6 months from the conclusion of the official contract.
