NGM: retail is expanding for three years continuously
The retail sales are continuously growing for thirty-six months. In the past year, except in January, growth was 4-5 percent each month, compared to the same period of the last year – the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
According to Marczinkó Zoltán the 5.7 percent increase in retail sales in June is due to the increase of employment, the reduction of the personal income tax rate and due to the growth of average gross wages. Low inflation can also be seen in real wages; more money remains, so people can spend more – he added. (MTI)
