NGM: Growth in retail sales may continue
Growth in retail sales may continue in the next few months, fueled by the upcoming holiday season and the boost in the construction industry – Pomázi Gyula, the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Tuesday, reflecting on the August retail sales data.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced Tuesday morning that in August 2017, retail sales increased by 4.7 percent, compared to the same period of last year, according to both the raw and calendar-adjusted data. (MTI)
