NGM: a strong year start for tourism
The substantial expansion of the international demand and the well-balanced increaseof domestic tourism resulted in a strong year start in the sector – the National Economy Ministry (NGM) emphasized in its statement on Monday, in response to the latest data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The foreign tourists spent 12.7 percent more guest nights at commercial accommodations in February than a year before, while domestic tourists spent 10.6 percent more guest nights. The number of guest nights increased by 11.6 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday. (MTI)
