NGM: retail sales became clearer thanks to the introduction of the online cash registers
The effect of the introduction of the online cash registers in last September could be only felt moderately, but this year retail sales became clearer as well as the economy – Marczinkó Zoltán István, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Thursday.
According to the latest data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the volume of retail sales increased by 5.1 percent on an annual basis, after the 4.6 percent increase of September, while in the first nine months of the year, retail sales were 5.9 percent higher than in the same period of last year.
