NGM: retail sales are growing steadily for 38 months
Hungarian retail sales are growing steadily for 38 months, and significantly above the EU average – Lepsényi István, Minister of State for the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Wednesday, in response to the August retail data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
He emphasized that the growth is mainly due to the rise in real wages, the near-zero inflation, the impact of government measures, the reduction of the personal income tax, the support of the families and the decline in pork VAT. (MTI)
