NGM: Medical tourism is Hungary’s strategic sector
The medical tourism industry is one of Hungary's strategic sectors, it is a high-growing market – Ruszinkó Ádám, Deputy Minister of State stressed in his lecture held at the Greet Vienna property development conference in Vienna on Tuesday.
Ruszinkó Ádám, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy highlighted that tourism contributes to the Hungarian gross domestic product (GDP) with a total of 10.3 percent, while about 340 thousand people are working in the industry and recalled that the World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that by 2022 medical tourism industry will be a leading industry (Gräf Szilvia, MTI)
