NGM: Retail sales are rising for 54 months
Retail sales have been rising steadily for 54 months – the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel commenting on the latest data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to the figures published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Monday, the growth in retail sales was 4.8 percent last year on the basis of the calendar effect adjusted data, which is the same as the previous year’s growth rate.
He added that retail sales performed quite well in November and December last year, for example, trade of non-food goods increased by more than 10 percent in both months. (MTI)
