NGM: Nearly 6,500 billion HUF investments have been implemented in Hungary in 2017
Last year, nearly 6,500 billion HUF worth of development was made in Hungary, which represents an increase of almost 17 percent, compared to the previous year, considering the volume of investments – Marczinkó Zoltán, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Wednesday, commenting the most recent data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The Deputy Minister of State added that the expansion of investments was the highest in 2017, since 1995.
According to the Central Statistical Office, investments increased by 16.7 percent in 2017, following the 16.0 percent decline of the previous year. The volume of investments in the fourth quarter was 14.4 percent higher than a year before. (MTI)
