The Spar does not plan to withdraw from Hungary
The Spar does not plan to leave the Hungarian market, despite the fact that the company objects some Hungarian legislations – Gerhard Drexel, CEO of Spar Austria confirmed in an interview that was publishedin the Friday's issue of the Austrian daily Die Presse.
“In Hungary, the company is booming, so it will not pull out of the country because of the incomprehensible laws that also conflicting the EU laws” – he said.
He also criticized the European Commission, which has not objected to the food-inspection fee yet, although the Hungarian laws affect the jurisdiction of three commissioners. (Gräf Szilvia, MTI)
