Food can’t be healthy if the ingredients are unhealthy
Excessive use of pesticides and antibiotics in livestock farming, and poor management of fertilisers are all major threats to human health – a new report by the World Economic Forum in cooperation with the Ellen McArthur Foundation has found. The report came out on 24 January and it claims that up to 5 million deaths could be caused each year by 2050 due to this.
