Consumers are not familiar enough with dietary supplements, according to a survey by Nébih
According to Nébih’s survey, many people consume food supplements, typically several kind of, but not everyone is aware of the basic information about the product range, so the agency’s experts are working on a guide to help consumers, the National Food Chain Safety Agency (Nébih) told MTI on Friday.

Nébih’s online survey, which began last December and involved 508 people, found, among other things, that only 34 percent of respondents knew that dietary supplements were also classified as food. Most consumers know that dietary supplements can be dangerous, but they are unaware of their physiological effects, they wrote. (MTI)
