Hungarians are not conscious water-consumers
Five out of 10 Hungarians are not worried that water shortages could develop in Hungary in the next 50-100 years, according to finish’s representative research on water consumption. The survey also showed that over-40s save water the most, although most of them turn off the tap for financial rather than sustainability reasons. Most water is used for cleaning, washing and washing dishes, and daily water use per capita can be up to 144 litres[1], which experts say will significantly increase our carbon footprint.
