400 million donation from Tesco
Tesco handed over its biggest value of gifts ever in Budapest on Wednesday. The chain transported approximately 11 trucks of clothing and other products to the Hungarian Food Bank Association, in order to fight against poverty.
"To help in the lives of communities living in the surrounding environment is an important part of Tesco's corporate responsibility strategy. In the year of fighting against poverty, we offer more goods than ever to the families living in poor conditions. We hope that with this donation we will help many people to live in better conditions" – said Hackl Mónika, Tesco's head of external communications.
