Nébih certification
Hospitality units that also offer mass catering services must have the Quality-driven Public Sector Catering Programme’s certificate for the latter – informed Dávid Tóth, head of the hospitality and mass catering department of the Hungarian Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih).
The main goal of this certification is to guarantee the high level of food safety, food hygiene and the use of quality cooking ingredients. Nébih launched the programme in test mode back in October 2015. Hospitality units can get the certification for a 3-year period or until it is withdrawn. Issuing the certificate is based on unannounced on the spot audits.
